Virtual people dominated worldwide decision making. In 2012, anarchist hackers injected a virus into the computerised world stock market. The virus altered the virtual people, and systematically destroyed global financial structures. Ownership was unprovable.

Citizens were forced to choose either the slavery of a corporation contract, or the risks of living beyond the law. The rise of street gang culture brought new dangers to city center war zones. The government regained its authority by neutron bombing corporate headquarters.

Robots and remotes could be utilized to achieve company objectives. The era of the Skyhammer began. Flying one of the heavily armed Skyhammers was a prestigious job.

Our competitors, Grubertech and CFC, are using remote military renegotiators which are causing us to experience negative territorial redistribution.
