I am a PhD candidate who researches medieval literature, a college composition instructor, and a hobbyist naturalist. My Wikipedia edits focus predominantly on developing or establishing pages or stubs for native plant and animal species, especially to improve their embedded appearance on iNaturalist.org (though I sometimes find myself unable to ignore typos or unclear generalizations on wiki pages of all sorts). I like to use my current institutional access to academic research databases for public good and improved citations.
