Operative is a 2025 Australian action-adventure film directed by Jayden Midwinter and produced by YouTube Originals for Speedy Studios. The film stars Alfie Midwinter, Tiarna Calvert, Lukas Walmsley, Claire Plane, Wendy Windleburn, Orlando Hayes and Andreas Hayes. In the film, two kids named Bradford and Jennifer go on a journey to save their mother from a Russian spy who is threatening to kill her. Operative was first announced in March 2025 with a tentative May 19, 2025 release date, which was later moved up to April 16, 2025. Jayden Midwinter was confirmed to be the film’s director, while West and Wilkinson were signed on as producers in March 2025. Orlando Hayes composed the film's theme titled “Tremendous”, with tracks from Marilyn Manson, Justice and Junkie XL being used for the film. Operative was released worldwide on YouTube on April 16, 2025. The film received generally positive reviews from users and was a smashing success, gaining over 368 views and 16 likes. A sequel, Operative 2, is scheduled to be released on May 20, 2025.
