I contribute primarily to articles relating to fossil fishes, and have a particular interest in extinct holocephalans. My current projects consist of expanding stub and start-class articles on fossil fish taxa, as well as creating articles for taxa that do not yet have them (a lot of them, including some pretty significant ones). I've begun journaling projects I would like to complete to give some structure to my editing, although I don't follow these rigidly. These goals will also reflect my uploads on Wikimedia Commons.
Current top-priority personal projects:
Complete rewrite and major expansion of the page for the subclass Holocephali (~80% complete)
Find speakers fluent in Russian and French who are willing to fact-check the translations used on Parahelicoprion, and adjust the article according to their feedback (0% complete)
Current high-priority personal projects
Promote all articles listed under prehistoric fish stubs (excluding its subcategories) to start-class or above
Have articles for all recognized holocephalan orders according to FOTW's 5th edition (12/14)
Create articles for important stem-group or early chondrichthyan taxa
Current mid-priority personal projects
Promote all articles I have created to C-class or above (4/16)
Promote articles for all Paleozoic holocephalans for which "something is known of the anatomy" and which had been described before or during 1968 to C-class or above (2/11)
Promote articles for all currently-recognized holocephalan orders to C-class or above (1/13)
Promote articles for all extant members of the family Rhinochimaeridae, as well as the page for Rhinochimaeridae itself, to C-class or above (0%)
Submit Ornithoprion as a featured article candidate
Submit a fact-checked version of Parahelicoprion for good article review
Current low-priority personal projects:
Contribute to Cladoselache, Dunkleosteus and Helicoprion (preferably in collaborations with their primary authors) and potentially see them promoted to good article or featured article (0%)
Ornithoprion (Complete rewrite and expansion, with copyediting and review by Jens Lallensack. Formerly . I also provided illustrations)
Dracopristis (Contributed to an expansion to help the article maintain GA status. Original GAN and majority of the article's content by Fossiladder13, and additional work by Jens Lallensack. I also provided the life reconstruction)
Parahelicoprion (Rewritten, with significant content expansion and additional sourcing. Former )
I draw once in a while, and make an effort to contribute skeletal diagrams or life reconstructions for my preferred research subjects when possible. Some of my older life recons are very speculative/inaccurate and have no merit being used on the site.
