The Midwest Culinary Institute is well-known for its outstanding programs and faculty, and its facilities, which integrate state-of-the-art technology with first-class tools of the culinary arts.
Students from all over the U.S. appreciate the high-quality, affordable education they receive at MCI, as well as the great return on their investment. Graduates enjoy remarkable job placement success, many with leading restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality venues in the U.S.
The facility includes 12 kitchens, a demonstration theater equipped for television broadcast, state-of-the-art technology and plasma TV screens in every classroom, and even its own meat and fish butcheries. In addition, the school operates an on-campus restaurant, The Summit.[1]
The program offers four certificates in culinary arts, pastry arts, personal chef and dietary management. It also partners with the University of Cincinnati to offer a four-year degree in culinology, which blends the science and technology of food production with culinary artistry used by chefs.
