Early Life and Education

Sarah Majeed (also known as Saira Majeed) was born in Karachi, Pakistan. She developed an interest in storytelling at an early age and pursued a career in screenwriting.

Career

Majeed began her career as a television writer and gained recognition with the drama Thori Si Wafa (2017), which was nominated for a Hum Award. She continued her success with Main Haar Nahin Manoun Gi (2018), a drama that received positive audience feedback.

In 2023, she gained widespread popularity with the romantic comedy Fairy Tale, which aired during Ramadan and became a trending drama in Pakistan. The success of the first season led to a sequel, Fairy Tale 2.

She is also involved in Mohabbat Yun Bhi Honi Thi (2025), a collaboration between Hum TV and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). The project aims to strengthen cultural ties between Pakistan and Dubai while incorporating the city's landmarks into the storyline.
