Hello there; happy Monday to you, personally from me! Welcome to my/this user page. 👋

Now unless there’s an unfortunate glitch somehow or somewhere, today indeed should read as Monday, 19 May 2025, and (as of when you last recently arrived on this page) the current time should be around or at least after 03:48 GMT – though if in doubt, feel free to double-check through either your screen, smartphone or watch, or to uncharacteristically refresh today’s clock or date via my infobox. ⏳

Nonetheless, if it’s your first time reading this message today, I formally greet you (in the name of the Lord). And I sure hope you are (or have at least been) doing fine lately. ☺

Just a swift backstory (in case you mightn’t know much about me), as an academic I somehow started editing Wikipedia in my spare time as something to do, and quickly found out how addicting it can be to help improve (one way or the other[1]) the “largest and most-read referenced site of information in history”. As a result, I am a longtime admirer of and advocate for an independent and transparent Wikipedia, that has been invaluable in providing a knowledge framework database for a global audience. 📖

Anyways, as a Christian, I go by the online moniker Diademchild , because I believe that a diadem[2] signifies a precious reward from God, something which symbolizes a high calling and His favour. The ornamental headband, may also rightly represent enlightenment or spiritual awareness, so, I duly consider myself as someone who carries God’s glory and/or is a “child”[3] of God that is promised a crown of life for my faithfulness unto Him. Hence; despite being a grown adult, by happily adopting my moniker, I’m expressing the hope and victory that comes with being a child of God, knowing that His promises of eternal life and glory are steadfast. ⛪

Religion aside, notwithstanding, as a fellow Wikipedian I promise to always edit in good faith, so I often prefer to refuse engaging in edit wars as I’m still learning daily and very much consider myself “a lifelong student in/of life”, but I do respect every experienced Wikipedian on this particular platform too. 📋

Likewise, I do commend Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger for their ingenuity, because Wikipedia has done so much in the realm of open knowledge and its availability. Indeed it’s a large, beautiful, mysterious, and inspiring online platform/project that is a privilege to share with you all. So it remains a desire of mine in this wonderful online community, to contribute my bit in improving and expanding existing body of knowledge and information. 📚

Therefore, if you’d perhaps like to chat with me about any future collaboration on this online platform, feel free to drop me a message on my talk page. Otherwise, on this platform you may check out today’s news or explore what’s generally happening here, out there in the world. 🌍

Happy (relevant) editing! ✍

For our useful information

[edit]

Remember that “small edits” make a big impact!
On this online platform throughout, let’s stay kind, assume good faith, and not bite the newcomers.
And if you happen to be a newcomer or if you’re still relatively inexperienced on this collaborative project, then I’d recommend that you please checkout this page or the Teahouse.

My aspirations

[edit]

This user is not a Wikipedia administrator but would like to be one someday.

Such is my love for open knowledge, wisdom and understanding, I would honestly consider it a special privilege and achievement, to somehow one day become an administrator on the English Wikipedia. 📁

How about a bit of some joke(s) for you, before you leave...
