I love Wikipedia and I love the accessibility of information. I want to contribute to it as much as I can in the little ways I can, and help to make it the best encyclopedia it can be. I'm learning it heals something in me to work on a project where we all have a common goal, even if we might disagree on how to reach it or what will get us there. And for myself, I want to flex the muscle of initiative. I want to get used to seeing a typo and fixing it myself, not waiting for someone else to do it. I want to take that skill with me into all the other parts of my life. Everyone can contribute to everything. If we all take it upon ourselves, everyone's burden will be lighter.
Also, I really want to help get a page to featured article status!
Since 2024-12-17, have been updating, cleaning up, and refining the article for the 2014 American raid in Libya. I want to get this article as high quality as it can be!
On 2025-3-7, resolved page needed issue for a source on the article Bear River Massacre. The accurate documentation of indigenous history is really important to me so I was really grateful to be able to find the page number of the source and verify the information in the article attributed to it.
On 2025-3-10, resolved page needed issue for a source on the article Tonality which had been marked as page needed since May 2009!! That one just made me feel cool.
