Anthony Rodriguez (composer and mixer)
[edit]Anthony Rodriguez is an American composer, music producer, and Dolby Atmos-certified mixer. He is best known for his work in immersive audio and for scoring film, television, and trailer music. Rodriguez has contributed music to series and films on Netflix, Telemundo, Discovery+, and Hulu, and he has released over 50 Dolby Atmos music productions through his company, Walk Sound Studio.
Early Life and Background
[edit]Rodriguez was born and raised in New Jersey. He began playing piano and percussion as a child and launched his professional music career in the early 2000s. In 2008, he founded the AR Piano Workshop to mentor emerging musicians in piano, music theory, and ear training.
Career
[edit]In 2000, Rodriguez produced the soundtrack for Tangy’s Song, a BET-affiliated project that later received a Telly Award. He later produced a Latin remix of “Shackles (Praise You)” by Mary Mary that reached #1 on Amazon’s Latin chart. In 2022, his cover of “Killing Me Softly” topped Apple Music’s R&B/Soul chart in Portugal.
Rodriguez has scored Netflix’s Love Is Blind, Telemundo’s Juegos de Mentiras, Discovery+’s The Idaho College Murders, and the feature film Ebenezer: The Traveler. He also mixes immersive music in Dolby Atmos at his studio Walk Sound Studio in Piscataway, New Jersey.
