Beeresh N. Gundur is from the northern part of Karnataka, India. He completed his Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from Kuvempu University, Shimoga, Karnataka, and holds additional qualifications including a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM), National Eligibility Test (NET) certification, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).
Beeresh has an interest in literature as well as in science and technology. He reads across these areas and occasionally writes in Kannada[1]. He actively engages with people and ideas, particularly those related to building a better environment and society. He is also interested in education, the public understanding of science, and the role of technology in everyday life.
He is currently working as an Information Scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). His work involves scientific information management, digital knowledge systems, and supporting research and development through effective information services. His areas of interest include science and technology, information and communication technology (ICT), artificial intelligence, and digital information and learning resource centres. Over the years, he has participated in various academic and professional conferences and has contributed research publications to national and international journals and conferences.
Beeresh follows a simple lifestyle and supports progressive ideas and social development. He values continuous learning and believes in the importance of sharing knowledge and encouraging critical thinking in society.
