Amrit Lohar (born 1 February 1995) is an Indian artist, lyricist, YouTuber, graphic designer, and entrepreneur from Purulia, West Bengal. He is the founder of the YouTube channel Purulia Video Original, where he promotes Purulia sad, romantic, folk, and cultural songs. He is also the creator and manager of websites like ajodhyahill.online, focusing on Ajodhya Hill tourism, and his personal site which showcases his creative and professional work.
He is known for writing and designing music content, producing reels, creating song thumbnails, and running a digital service centre called Amrit Telecom. His works play a key role in preserving Purulia’s musical heritage through online platforms.

Early life
[edit]Amrit Lohar was born on 1 February 1995 in Tola Baganadi, a small tribal village near Ajodhya Hills in the Purulia district of West Bengal, India.[2] He grew up in a culturally rich Santal environment, influenced by traditional music and tribal customs. His grandparents, Judadhisthir and Shobani Lohar, and his parents, Kerani and Phul Lohar, played important roles in shaping his early life. Amrit completed his primary education at Bharat Seva Ashram Sangha, then studied at Ayodhya Pahar Ashram School, and later at Suisa High School. He graduated from Silli College in Jharkhand.[2]

[edit]Amrit Lohar is married and has a son named Arnab Lohar (born c. 2022), who is occasionally featured in his personal social media posts. Arnab is affectionately referred to in Amrit's family-based song projects.
