Aipharunet is a Wikipedia user who joined the website sometime in 2025.
They were inspired to start editing Wikipedia in 2024 due to seeing incoherent information on the speculative evolution wiki page. However, Aipharunet was unable to create an account at the time in order to edit the page, and did not do so.
While Aipharunet does not claim to be an expert on any given subject manner, they are still willing to contribute to Wikipedia. Currently, they occupy their editing time by scouring random Wikipedia pages in order to find articles to edit.
Their goals in editing generally consist of fixing minor grammatical mistakes, rewriting nonsensical phrasing, and removing vandalism.
Gentle corrections on any editing mistakes, helpful tips and tricks, and patience are appreciated, as they are still a bit nervous about editing Wikipedia.
The name "Aipharunet", short for Aipharunet ila'Tsarath, originated from a 'fake word' generator that utilizes Markov chains to generate relatively pronounceable words.
Aipharunet is roughly pronounced as AYE-fah-reu-net.
While Aipharunet speaks some German, they are not as proficient with the language as they would like to be in terms of general proper grammatical skills. Aipharunet is thus attempting to better their German language skills by reading random articles on the German Wikipedia.
