Sourabh Shankar Chakraborty is an Indian plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Burn and Plastic Surgery at the AIIMS Kalyani in West Bengal. His professional work spans across plastic surgery, ENT, and microvascular reconstruction.
Education and early career
[edit]Chakraborty studied medicine at the University College of Medical Sciences under the University of Delhi, where he received his MBBS degree in 2011. He completed his postgraduate training in otorhinolaryngology (DNB) from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, in 2016. Later, he earned his MCh in Plastic Surgery from AIIMS Jodhpur in 2021. He is also a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS).
Professional career
