Aaron Carlo Dy Cabrera (born May 21, 1985) is a Filipino engineer, entrepreneur, developer, philanthropist, and civic leader who was raised from humble beginnings but grew up to be an accomplished personality not only in his local community but in many parts of the Philippines. Cabrera is well known in the business world for turning ideas into sustainable companies. He is the Founder, Chairman & CEO of several companies including TERAVERA CORPORATION,[1] MICROBIT Inc., TERALINK Inc., CEPAI Inc., and PIPIT Inc., among others. Aaron's remarkable ability to inspire teams and guide them towards a common goal has positioned him as a highly respected and influential figure in his industries.

Aaron is also known for his extensive charitable work as a devoted philanthropist, providing scholarships and support to less fortunate students, project grants to scholastic institutions, and generously donating to numerous schools, NGOs, and humanitarian organizations for the benefit of the less fortunate families.

Cabrera has made significant contributions through his leadership in local and national civic organizations, focusing on disaster relief, community welfare, social progress, economic growth, environment, health and education. Numerous awards, citations, plaques of recognition, and certificates of appreciation have been received by Aaron for his untiring support in their undertakings.

In 2024, he became the second nominee of TGP Partylist (Talino at Galing ng Pinoy), a political organization that gained widespread patronage and support from the Filipino people, therefore winning a seat in the Philippine House of Representatives for two (2) consecutive terms during the 2019 and 2022 National Election.[2][3]

Early Life and Education

Born in Cotabato City, Cabrera grew up in San Pablo City, Laguna. He pursued a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, where he earned academic honors. He completed his Master's in Business Administration (MBA) degree at the Philippine Christian University in 2023. Cabrera later earned his Doctorate in Development Administration, further solidifying his expertise in public service and governance.

Philanthropy and Volunteer Work

Cabrera is widely recognized for his hands-on approach to community service. He is the founder of the Teravera Academy Foundation, Inc., which offers free technical training for young professionals in the engineering and construction sectors. This initiative aims to help bridge the gap between academic learning and practical experience for underprivileged students.

Cabrera also serves as the Chairman of the Malinaw Foundation, Inc., a charitable organization that focuses on disaster relief, scholarships, and health programs. Under his leadership, the foundation has provided aid to communities affected by typhoons, conducted medical outreach programs, and supported educational initiatives for low-income students.

His work as the Chairman of the Philippine Red Cross San Pablo City Chapter stands out as one of his most significant contributions to public service. Cabrera has been instrumental in leading blood donation campaigns, volunteer training, social welfare and emergency response operations, particularly during natural disasters. His leadership has helped mobilize volunteers and resources to assist the most vulnerable communities in Laguna and neighboring provinces.

In 2024, Cabrera was selected as the second nominee for the TGP Partylist (Talino at Galing ng Pinoy),[5] a political group that champions Filipino talent and excellence, with a focus on education, local industry development, and sustainable initiatives. TGP aims to uplift marginalized sectors and provide more opportunities for Filipinos through social programs and community-driven policies.[6]

TGP Partylist won a seat in the Philippine House of Representatives for two (2) consecutive terms during the 2019 and 2022 National Election and is bidding for a third term on May 2025 elections with a target of three (3) seats for the 20th Congress. House Deputy Majority Floor Leader Congressman Jose "Bong" Joson Teves, Jr.[7] represented TGP Partylist in the 18th Congress and 19th Congress of the Philippines.[8]

While Cabrera is primarily recognized for his volunteerism and civic contributions, he is also an engineer, innovator, serial entrepreneur, investor, board executive, contractor and developer. He is the founder of Teravera Corporation[9]', a construction company specializing in infrastructure development. His other ventures include Teralink Inc.', Microbit Inc. Caliraya Eco-Parks and Agricultural Industries, Inc. (CEPAI, Inc.), Philippine Integrated Properties for Industries and Tourism, Inc. (PIPIT, Inc.), and Hiraya, Inc., among others. As a business leader, he is highly committed to developing sustainable business solutions that boost economic growth, promote social progress, improve community well-being, and leave a lasting legacy of positive change and transformation.

Personal Life

Cabrera is married to Girhell Torres Cabrera, and they have four children. Despite his professional and civic commitments, he enjoys playing different musical instruments, sports like golf, chess, body building, practical shooting and outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, spelunking, water sports, and scuba diving, among others.
