Tracy Pun Palandjian is an American nonprofit executive working in the field of impact investing. She is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Social Finance, a nonprofit organization focused on impact investing.

Early life and education

Palandjian was born and raised in Hong Kong. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, magna cum laude, from Harvard College and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School, where she was recognized as a Baker Scholar.[1]

Career

Palandjian began her professional career in the private sector, holding positions at Wellington Management and McKinsey & Company.[2] She later joined the Parthenon Group as a managing director, where she led the firm's Nonprofit Practice and advised philanthropic and nonprofit organizations.[3]

In 2011, she co-founded Social Finance in the United States alongside Sir Ronald Cohen and David Blood. The organization was created to develop and implement outcomes-based financing models, including the adaptation of the Social impact bond framework from the United Kingdom.[4][5]

In 2024, she launched the Social Finance Institute, a division of the organization focused on research, education, and field-building in outcomes-based funding.[6]
