Tonbridge Jubilee Sidings are a train stabling point located in Tonbridge, Kent, England, to the west of Tonbridge station. They are sandwiched to the immediate North of the Redhill to Tonbridge running lines, South of the main area of Tonbridge West Yard.[2] There are four sidings and all access, both rail and on foot, is from the eastern end adjacent to Tonbridge Power Box. As the sidings are electrified[i] and the larger West Yard is not, the sidings are fenced for safety. Facilities include lighting and raised platforms to give access for carriage interior cleaning. Two of the sidings can accommodate 12 coach trains, one 11 and the longer southern siding can hold 16.[3]

Two further electrified stabling sidings, each with a capacity of 8 vehicles, the Down Main Sidings, are provided to the North of the West Yard, adjacent to the London line.[3]

Present

[edit]

Stabling is provided for Southeastern Class 377 EMUs,[4] Class 375 Electrostars and Class 465 Networkers.[5]
