Toaster Dude is a satirical superhero webcomic by soaporsalad. It first debuted on Webtoon in 2017. The comic did not became widely popular on its first run and was discontinued, despite attracting a small cult following. It was reintroduced by soaporsalad and littlebobler in 2020. The art style of the new launch was more detailed and less simplistic than the original run.[1]
Reception
[edit]The comic was praised by critics for its humor.[1][2] Liam Nolan of Comic Book Resources named it one of the five best Webtoons comics of 2020, and wrote that it is "a genuinely funny series that lampoons superhero comics and shonen manga/anime," comparing it to Chainsaw Man and One Punch Man.[3]
