1"And the Deadly Drekavac"Dean DevlinDean Devlin & John RogersMay 25, 2025 (2025-05-25)0.81[12]
Set in 1847 Belgrade, the episode begins with Vikram betraying a warlord named Gregor to protect the Sword of Mars, a magical artifact. Vikram reveals himself as a Librarian, sworn to safeguard magical items. However, using the Scarab of Horus, he freezes himself in time—until rescued by veteran Librarian Jacob Stone in the present day. Vikram's mission to reunite with his lost love, Anya, leads him to unleash magic back into the world, coinciding with the arrival of two new protagonists: Connor Green, a conspiracy-hunting historian podcaster, and Lysa Pascal, a science prodigy and reluctant heir to the ancient castle (and former Annex to the Library). Their accidental contact with the Stone of Kraljevic summons a dangerous spirit called the Drekavac, forcing the trio into a fight to contain it. They are joined by Charlie Cornwall, the Guardian now assigned to Vikram. After chasing leads and facing a few missteps, they track the possessed host, a member of a local heavy metal band. They subdue the creature with a ritual involving its own tears, granting it peace and saving the host. Meanwhile, the magical surge threatens the Library's stability, and Jacob warns of magical chaos spreading worldwide. Vikram chooses to stay and help clean up the mess he caused, with Connor and Lysa agreeing to join him as the new team of Librarians. In a final twist, Anya is revealed to have been Gregor's fiancée, and Gregor himself appears ominously to the metalhead who picked up an artifact Vikram dropped — suggesting much bigger threats ahead.
2"And the Dance of Doom"Sandra MitrovićKate RorickMay 26, 2025 (2025-05-26)N/A
A ballerina mysteriously dances into the street and is hit by a car, which sends her into a coma—but her feet keep dancing. At the Annex, new librarians Lysa and Connor meet caretaker Elaine Astolat, who reveals the extent of the magic that is now loose in the world due to Vikram's tampering with a magical well inside the Annex. Investigating the strange ballet incident, the team discovers the ballerina was cursed and that a dark force is affecting the entire ballet company. Suspicion falls on Dame Anna, the theatre director, as bizarre incidents escalate—like dancers' shoes catching fire mid-rehearsal. Clues lead the team to a magical "dance tree," whose resin is being used to control dancers and drain their vitality. The culprit is revealed to be Lady Midday, a youth-stealing witch—who is, in fact, Dame Anna. She plans to hijack the ballet's performance of Giselle to steal the essence of the audience and regain her youth. During the final performance, Anna nearly succeeds, but Vikram secretly sabotages the music's tempo, breaking her spell. She crumbles to dust, the threat ends, and the audience applauds, unaware of the real danger. Back at the Annex, the team reflects on their success. Despite continued bickering, Connor and Lysa are learning to work together.
3"And the Ghost Train"Milan TodorovićTom MacRaeJune 2, 2025 (2025-06-02)0.32[13]
The episode begins with Vikram brushing up on a century's worth of history, while Connor and Lysa surprise him by bringing a computer into the Annex, showing how well they're starting to collaborate. When Connor proposes using the enchanted doorway to visit the nation of Caucaslyvia, Charlie insists on joining the journey, but is convinced to stay behind because she wants to bond with Lysa. The group splits up, and Connor and Vikram visit a historical train where the Caucaslyvian king mysteriously disappeared in the 1970s. They discover a frozen time sprite on the train, which unexpectedly transports them back in time onto a spectral locomotive stuck in a time loop, of the very hour when King Kavod disappeared. They discover that Kavod was killed by Ava Ryba (alias Bella Goodridge), a British agent, and gradually piece the story together by viewing various looping moments: Bella is on the train to deliver the Scythe of Time, a relic that allows communication with one's past self, to the king, who intends to use it to gain more power. Bella reveals that she hid the artifact somewhere on the train as insurance against Kavod's betrayal, but only after her lover, Nikolai—Kavod's body double—was shot by the king. Meanwhile, Charlie and Lysa track down the elderly Bella in the present and bring her onto the train, where she reverts to her younger form. She retrieves the scythe, but Kavod reappears and takes possession of it, wielding its power to control both Bella and a now-visible Vikram and Connor. Vikram manages to briefly touch the artifact, sending a message to his past self to retrieve the Nectar of Niobe, a mystical substance that reawakens the time sprite. Immune to time distortion, the sprite defeats Kavod and breaks the loop. Bella finds peace with a dying Nikolai before the train comes to a stop and she reverts to her current age. Back in the Annex, Connor encourages Vikram to open up about his dislocation in time and the pain of being separated from Anya. In a final reveal, Vikram is shown to have secretly kept the Scythe of Time, foreshadowing possible consequences down the line.
4"And the Thief of Love"Nemanja ĆipranićRebecca RosenbergJune 9, 2025 (2025-06-09)N/A
A magical bow with the power to force romantic attraction is used to rob a bank in Paris, turning employees into infatuated lovers. Vikram, intrigued by the artifact's emotional power, hopes it might reconnect him to Anya. The team seeks out Cupid, the mythological figure behind the enchanted arrows. Now a jaded, retired deity, he's disillusioned by modern dating apps. He reveals he buried his arrows and doesn't recall where. Using magic detection, the gang traces the love magic to an underground cache linked to Marie, a former maid wronged by her wealthy ex-employer, Guy LeRoy. Marie has been using the arrows to exact revenge on Guy, who fired her after she refused his advances. With Vikram struck by one of the arrows, he falls under Marie's influence and joins her scheme to unleash mass infatuation at the Paris Museum, masking an artifact heist. To free Vikram, Charlie brings him to Anya's grave, breaking the spell. Cupid returns to intervene, reclaims his arrows, and stops the theft. Marie, however, isn't all wrong—she reveals Guy's corruption via documents from the bank. Cupid offers poetic justice by hitting Guy with a love arrow just as investigators arrive, leading him to blurt out his crimes in front of authorities.
