The Hurricane Wars is a 2023 romantic fantasy novel by Thea Guanzon. The novel is inspired by Southeast Asian mythology, specifically Philippine mythology.[1][2] A sequel, A Monsoon Rising, was published in 2024.
Plot
[edit]Orphaned as a baby, Talasyn grew to follow as a dedicated soldier for the Sardovian army to defend her country from the Night Empire. She has a secret - she is one of the last remaining Lightweavers.
