Thanawin Pholcharoenrat (Thai: ธนวินท์ ผลเจริญรัตน์; born 12 November 2000), nicknamed Winny (Thai: วินนี่), is a Thai actor, singer and model under GMMTV.[1] He is known for his roles in Fish upon the Sky (2021), My School President (2022) and We Are (2024).[2]
Early life and education
[edit]Thanawin was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. He completed his secondary education at Bangkok Christian College. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Business Law at Thammasat University.[3]
Career
[edit]In 2021, Thanawin made his acting debut with the television series Fish upon the Sky where he played a supporting role as Koh.[4]
In 2022, he starred as Nay in Star & Sky: Star in My Mind. In the same year, he gained recognition after portraying Win in the series My School President.[2] He also featured on the soundtrack of the series "ไหล่เธอ (You’ve Got Ma Back)" alongside the cast. Following the series' success, he participated in a fan meeting in Thailand on October 29, 2022, along with other cast members.[5]
In 2023, he appeared as Itt in Midnight Museum, also reprised his role as Nay from Star in My Mind and as Win from My School President in the anthology series Our Skyy 2. Later that year, he participated in overseas fan meetings of My School President in various countries, such as Vietnam, Cambodia,[6] Singapore,[7] Japan,[8] the Philippines,[9] and Taiwan.[10] Additionally, the cast held the 'My School President Prom Night Live On Stage' event on March 18, 2023, at Union Hall, Union Mall. The cast also received collective recognition by winning two awards at the 2023 Kazz Awards and Mint Awards for social media impact and breakthrough status respectively.[11]
In 2024, he received critical praise for portraying Q in the series We Are, alongside his My School President costar Kittiphop Sereevichayasawat. Their on-screen pairing attracted public attention, leading to more numerous joint projects.[12] He also participated in many events held by GMMTV, including 'We Are Forever Fancon' in August[13] and 'Fanday in Bangkok 2024' in November.[14]
In May 2025, he participated as one of the main artists in the concert Love Out Loud Fan Fest 2025: LOVEMOSPHERE, held on 17–18 May at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani. The concert significantly created buzz on X (formerly Twitter), by going viral worldwide and crossing more than 19 million mentions on the platform, as reported by the news outlets.[15] He is also set to play in the new GMMTV series That Summer.[16][17]
