Founded in 2005,[1] the Thailand Phil is a professional orchestra in Thailand. In its first twenty seasons the orchestra has gained worldwide recognition for its performances of classical masterworks and its dedication to premiering new compositions.

In 2022, the Thailand Phil was the first Thai orchestra to tour Europe. The orchestra has also performed throughout Thailand, Southeast Asia, Japan, and New Zealand.

The Thailand Phil operates in close partnership with Mahidol University College of Music. The orchestra has performed with conductors and soloists such as Kahchun Wong, Carl St.Clair, Sergei Nakariakov, and Boston Brass. It has toured across Asia, New Zealand, and Europe.

The orchestra’s home is the 2,000-seat Prince Mahidol Hall at Mahidol University’s College of Music in Salaya,[2] a suburb of Bangkok, Thailand.
