Tecla Insolia (born 13 January 2004) is an Italian actress and singer.

Biography

Born in Varese, she grew up in Piombino, Tuscany.[1][2]

She took part in several Italian TV shows such as Pequeños gigantes (2016) and L'allieva (2018).[1][2]

On 15 March 2019 she won the second edition of RAI's talent show Sanremo Young, gaining participation to the Sanremo Music Festival 2020.[1] She competed in the "Newcomers" section of the Sanremo Festival with the song "8 marzo" and ended up second to Leo Gassmann's "Vai bene così".[3][4] She won the "Enzo Jannacci" Award for Best Performance and the Press, Radio, TV & Web Award "Lucio Dalla".[4][5]

In 2020, she starred in the thriller TV series Vite in fuga, broadcast on Rai 1.[6] She also portrayed Nada in the television biopic La bambina che non voleva cantare.[7] On 22 July 2021, the single "Ti amo ma" was released, in collaboration with Italian rapper Alfa.[8] In 2022, she starred in the Rai television series 5 minuti prima, directed by Duccio Chiarini.[9] In March of the same year, the single "Oro" was released, co-written with Italian singer Noemi.[10]

In 2024, she starred in the series The Art of Joy directed by Valeria Golino,[11] and supporting actress in the film Familia directed by Francesco Costabile.[12] For both her roles she was nominated at the 2025 David di Donatello, winning in the David di Donatello for Best Actress for The Art of Joy.[13] During the same ceremony, she was honored with the David Italian Breakthrough.
