In the articles on Uyoku, Kodama's release is explained as a "rumored" intelligence act by the USA, but in this article it is clearly stated as the CIA's doing. This should be clarified.--210.174.29.143 (talk) 06:24, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The ELs suffered form link rot, but I've found their updated URLs, improved their documentation, and used them for citations. I've added a few more citations, as well. The current sources (especially Kaplan) should support everything in he article, but I don't have the time right now to extract page numbers for each individual item. --Xanzzibar (talk) 16:58, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Kaplan and Dubro claim that he rose to the rank of Rear Admiral by the end of World War II, but I can't substantiate this in any other source that doesn't trace back to Kaplan and Dubro, and no Japanese sources mention this whatsoever. I think this must be a mistake and am deleting for now, as per WP:BOLD --Ash-Gaar (talk) 16:00, 26 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
