DYK submission?

[edit]

Is anyone planning to submit a fact from this fascinating article to WP:DYK? If not, I can probably do it. Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 20:33, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Pinging Kaldari and Scope creep. Cheers, Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 22:01, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Also pinging Yeptune, in the hope that he or she might still log in. Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 06:52, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Clayoquot: Great idea! Go for it! Kaldari (talk) 00:33, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Clayoquot:, @Kaldari: Its a really decent research article. It will make an excellent DYK. Do it quick. scope_creepTalk 01:19, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Clayoquot: A hook suggestion: "Several types of mammals have webbed feet, including beavers, otters, platypuses, and water opossums." Kaldari (talk) 05:42, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and created a DYK nomination for it. Kaldari (talk) 19:50, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Splendid! Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 01:18, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merge Interdigital webbing

[edit]

I can't see any difference between this topic and Interdigital webbing. Lophotrochozoa (talk) 18:41, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Interdigital webbing is primarily about this characteristic in mammals. This article is more general, covering the characteristic in other classes of creature. Would merging the two pages make navigation a bit difficult for those on phones? Oona Wikiwalker (talk) 08:48, 30 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing about the article titles suggests this distinction. If we keep them separate, Interdigital webbing should be renamed "Interdigital webbing in mammals" and the current title should be redirected to Webbed foot. Lophotrochozoa (talk) 20:48, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like the rename has been boldly done (fine). Hence, I've closed the merge discussion, noting that other editors could decide to merge Interdigital webbing in mammals into Webbed foot#Mammals in the future. Klbrain (talk) 10:14, 30 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
