To my knowledge, the largest Guy Lombardo’s band ever was was 13 pieces (not including vocalists that didn’t play instruments in the band), not 20 pieces. The band’s longtime instrumentation included 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, 4 saxes (all of which doubled on flute or clarinet, with Victor additionally playing baritone and soprano saxes), drums, bass (tuba), guitar/banjo and the two (Twin) pianos. 2600:1700:15E0:7E20:185:BEF8:636D:AAA3 (talk) 22:46, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
