Dear Bermicourt, I'm afraid that vertical metre doesn't pass the requirements of Wikipedia:Notability and wouldn't survive a nomination for deletion. For example, none of the sources cited define it explicitly, they only mention it in passing as part of another subject's definition. I've tried to merge the gist of it into the present broader article; could you please try and salvage any other significant parts that you thought were left behind?
