Which Air Force?
[edit]Though doing great service for the Twentieth, was not the VII Fighter Command still nominally part of the Seventh Air Force at the time? My understand was that Seventh Air Force was in charge of both VII Fighter Command and ASR responsibilities on behalf of the Twentieth Air Force. In other words, they were assigned to the Twentieth, but not reassigned (or subordinated to) it. Been wrong before, though...--172.190.14.150 (talk) 01:22, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
