Orphaned references in Tut.By

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Tut.By's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "alexa":

  • From YouTube: "Youtube.com Traffic, Demographics and Competitors". www.alexa.com. Retrieved 2020-01-11.
  • From Onliner.by: "How popular is onliner.by?". Alexa Internet. Archived from the original on 30 July 2015.
  • From Alexa Internet: "alexa.com Competitive Analysis, Marketing Mix and Traffic - Alexa". www.alexa.com. Retrieved 17 July 2020.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 14:56, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mirrors for TUT.by

[edit]

As the Belarusian Internet is often interrupted at the moment, I have added two weblinks for international mirrors (on .news and .online).

The language of Tut.By

[edit]

Back in 2020, an IP user claimed that the language was exclusively Russian, but this isn't true. I have corrected the article and added a source, which confirms the existence of Belarusian articles on Tut.By. Per Yuri Zisser's words in this interview:

"Zisser: [...] We have a bilingual portal. There are news articles that are published in both Russian and Belarusian languages simultaneously. And there are texts that are published only in the Belarusian language. We do not restrict journalists in their language choice. Well, and of course, sometimes it makes you feel down. For example, recently there was a wonderful piece about how a Belarusian met with four US presidents and brought one of them to Minsk. This wonderful article was published on May 30th. In Russian, it would probably have been read by about a hundred thousand people, but in Belarusian, it was read by only 10,000 people. It's so regrettable, as this work deserved better." --Ssvb (talk) 23:31, 15 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
