Geography

NASA quotes a mean sea-level rise of 3.4mm/year (as of March 2025). The current text "It is, however, much lower than the publicised 20 centimetres (7.9 in) a year" might refer to a particular noteworthy statement. It may also be a barbed comment at supposed climate alarmism.
