entirely unnecessary new article Broadway Subway (Vancouver)

[edit]

This is not a new "subway" or a new line, it's an extension, and as such it should be covered in the Millennium Line article. No one will call this "the Broadway subway" once the project is completed... it's not notable in and of itself. —Joeyconnick (talk) 03:46, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As the person who created the article, I agree to this, however the Evergreen Extension is an extension of the Millenium Line though was intended to be a line.[1] The Broadway Subway was also intended to be a light rail line.[2]Cascadia630 (talk) 04:18, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Whether separate tech was once considered for it or not is entirely irrelevant. It's not going to be a separate line and as such having a separate article for it is inappropriate. —Joeyconnick (talk) 20:38, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
In the logo of the Broadway Subway Corporation, it has blue for the Expo Line, yellow for the Millenium Line, green for the Evergreen Extension, and red for the Broadway Subway. [1] The UBC Line Rapid Transit Study, was a study back in 2011. [2] The media has called the line, the Broadway Subway, not the Millennium Line Broadway Extension. [3] Also, the Evergreen Extension is not a line, however is still an article on Wikipedia. —Cascadia630 (talk) 02:11, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Unless the section on the Broadway extension becomes too large for the Millennium Line article; I see no reason why this should be a stand-alone subject. —Northwest (talk) 02:16, 24 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Unified route diagram template for all three lines

[edit]

Hi! Would it be possible to have all three SkyTrain lines be displayed on a unified route diagram template for this page? OrdinaryScarlett (talk) 07:37, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@OrdinaryScarlett: I got a head start on this by copying & dissecting the TransLink major route diagram. While incomplete as of writing this, it should be finished soon, just needs realigning, shortening, and I may have missed some bus station links. I hope it will be of use. We already have the major route diagram. We don't need to go overboard by doing diagrams of its constituent parts. —Joeyconnick (talk) 16:44, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
