Synaptic fatigue → Short-term synaptic depression – The term Short-term synaptic depression is already mentioned as a synonym. Now I have a multitude of sources that use the term "Short-term synaptic depression" , but I don't know how to find a source that says that "Synaptic fatigue" is the older term and "Short-term synaptic depression" is the newer one. A google search gives 7 000 results for "Synaptic fatigue" and 51000 results for "Short-term synaptic depression", so it is clear anyway that the latter term by far is the more common one. What do you all say? Please weigh in specifically: User:HMSLavender, User:Haruo Kasai Thank you! Lova Falk (talk) 16:33, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
Ping User:Sciperson as well! Lova Falk (talk) 08:15, 2 March 2025 (UTC)
- No responses at all. However, User:Haruo Kasai has previously tried to change many instances of "Synaptic fatigue" into Short-term synaptic depression so I presume their support. (See history of the page.) Now I will just be bold and make the move. Lova Falk (talk) 09:14, 7 March 2025 (UTC) The discussion above is closed. Please do not modify it.
