According to The New Voice of Ukraine, the Sheikh Mansur Battalion's commander was honoured at the "Unity and Gratitude" International Forum on 14 March 2025. "Ukraine’s highest collective award, the "Steel Cross 'For Your Freedom and Ours'", was presented to all foreign volunteers serving in Ukraine’s defense forces."
