Secular Democratic Alliance → Sanjukta Morcha – The alliance was popularly and almost universally known as Sanjukta Morcha in media and public discourse, not as "Secular Democratic Alliance", which saw little to no usage. Reliable sources overwhelmingly refer to it as Sanjukta Morcha.
No comment on the request itself, but an oppose on this basis is without merit – the article is currently at Secular Democratic Alliance and most incoming links point directly at it (rather than going via the redirect), so of course it has far more pageviews. I would suggest the fact that there are so many incoming hits via the redirect suggests there may be quite a lot of searching using that name. Number5720:30, 14 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Comment – In my evaluation of English-language sources, the use of each name is split almost 50/50, with a few more articles using the current name. However, Sanjukta Morcha is the name the group itself uses in its English publications. Yue🌙18:56, 19 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
