Change city-wide population to 797,700 based on 2024 estimate from SPD; see 2024 population estimate when you hover your cursor over the 2024 crime rate on the graph.

Those crime rates seem to be based on the population figure for Seattle reported in ofm.wa.gov/sites/default/files/public/dataresearch/pop/april1/ofm_april1_population_final.pdf. Since the Office of Financial Management (OFM) document has the figure easier to find, I will use that to update the article. Peaceray (talk) 18:07, 26 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted the change, as it is generally preferred to use the Census Bureau's annual estimates to remain consistent with other states. The OFM uses a different methodology, so it doesn't always line up. Sounder Bruce 18:45, 26 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

As manned flight did not begin until 1903, how or from where was this taken / painted / conceived? From a balloon perhaps? Or is this AI generated Fantasy?
