Proposal to merge into Singapore Scout Association
[edit]Oppose - Scouts in Singapore are broader than just the Singapore Scout Association and have included units of other national organizations. The Singapore Scout Association's was only formed in 1965 and is the successor to The Boy Scouts Association, Singapore branch. Record of that previous organization belongs in this article. Historically, early Boy Scouts in Singapore included a number of units independent of the Singapore Scout Association and its predecessor. Scouting and Guiding in Singapore is an article in a series consisting of many Wikipedia articles on Scouting and Guiding in individual countries that should not be disrupted by a merger. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.42.10.20 (talk) 10:44, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
