Converted from a redirect by InilanNahklia (talk) and Knightoftheswords281 (talk). Nominated by Knightoftheswords281 (talk) at 13:55, 8 December 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Rizz (slang); consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.[reply]

  • Article new and long enough, and well cited. Hooks are interesting and are attributed to a source. Proposed image is free to be used on the main page. ALT2, which doesn't have a picture, could be a good hook for the bottom slot. QPQ not required. Styyx (talk) 23:21, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The word appears to be a Neologism which seems to comply with our WP:NEO policy. Lightburst (talk) 23:47, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

rizz is used by gen alpha, it is known as gen alpha slang, we can use it in sentences like, I have such good rizz or I can rizz your mom, another way we can youse the word "rizz" is by using it on yourself by adding ler to the end to make rizzler, I can say "I am such a rizzler. 2607:FEA8:5824:2900:19D1:7FA:41DA:8E6 (talk) 23:49, 12 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. – Anne drew (talk · contribs) 23:55, 12 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Add to either existing section, or create new section for earlist/earlier examples of the words usage in pop culture.

'The word appears to have been in use in some form as early as 1999, where the 'Red Dwarf' character Arnold Rimmer uses the phrase 'Giving it rizz' to refer to the act of engaging in sexual intercourse. This occurs during the fourth episode of the eighth season of the British SitCom.

The usage implies a similar meaning to our modern understanding of the word.

The term did not appear to gain much popular use after this instance, until Kai Cenat Popularised it in later in 2021.'
