Controversy section

[edit]

The controversy section is disproportionately long. Wikipedia’s biographies are expected to present a proportional view of a subject’s life. Currently, that section dominates the article, which can distort the reader’s perception—even if the events are well-sourced and significant.Southernhemisphere (talk) 22:21, 2 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Man on a Mission

[edit]

It's curious how psychedelics can consume people to the exclusion of all else. Like the Lotus Eaters from Greek mythology, figures such as McKenna, Kesey, and Leary shared an obsession with transcendent, otherworldly experiences that drew them away from conventional life. A lot of them went on a mission and never came back ;)
