Who Was/Is George Goodwin?

Clarification needed. The name - only one given under Notable People - is not linked. The only George Goodwin subject of a wiki article is a cricketer whose entry shows no signs of Shropshire or Herefordshire connections. Richard's Castle Rectory

Not mentioned in the article about Richard's Castle is the Rectory which is now in private hands. It is a very old but splended five bedroom house the history of which I have very little knowledge even though I lived there for over ten years as a teenager; my father was the Rector of the parish for 20 years.
