Reviewer Note

An article on this party was deleted in February 2022, and two attempts to create a new article were deleted as G4. I was about to nominate this article for deletion. Proposed merge of Manoj Parab into Revolutionary Goans Party

The result of the discussion was do not merge, with a small but fairly evident consensus. The content of the BLP article seems sufficiently distinct from that of the org, with information relevant to the first but far less to the second, to remain separate. Per Klbrain's suggestion, if some parts of the content belong on the organization's page, an internal merge is always possible. Such excessive details are not relevant to a WP:BLP of a politician. If they stay on Wikipedia, they must be at the page of the political party itself. SerChevalerie (talk) 09:29, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose, both because I can't see which material would be better placed at Revolutionary Goans Party, and also on technical grounds: because the proposal described is not a 'merge'. It would be better to isolated the material that you think should be moved between the articles into a distinct section, then make an 'internal merge' proposal using template:Duplication. Oppose, as I have given my reasoning already in the relevant page edit summaries [1] [2]. If the editor is so interested in expanding the political party page, he can always have the content written in his own words and add it here and not look for fast and easy methods.
