Merge proposal
[edit]This article should be merged with Theory of relativity --Greenmaven (talk) 02:42, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
- Should not. Per Martin Rees, Astronomer Royal, "This book is not only an important historical document, but displays the style and clarity of Einstein's thought in a matter accessible to a wide readership."[1] How often do you get a great scientist popularising their own theories? Not very and, as Rees notes, it leads us through some of the thought experiments that led him to relativity. Charlie Faust (talk) 16:09, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
The Merge tag will be removed, as this has generated no interest since April. This is a "book article", and can be expanded. I shall try to spend some time on it. – Paine (Climax!) 10:05, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
PS. Also, I moved this page to the book's correct and complete title.
