It is not an autobiography. I myself have only personally directly edited this page once way back in 2012. I am aware that friends (and enemies apparently!), family, and my current and former students have made edits to this page but I have not directed anyone to do so. In the future I will use the {{request edit}} tag should I see the need to make edits on this page. --Ram Samudrala (talk) 03:25, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
There are literally tens of thousands of scholars and professors worldwide who do not have a Wiki page that are, arguably, far more important historically and influential than this man. What is the “bar” here? Should every professor be able to upload a biographical sketch and resume to Wikipedia? 2601:199:C301:D4FC:B08C:90A:35C4:27F0 (talk) 03:11, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know, but the criterion for Wikipedia inclusion is notability and it and as a fellow academic who is just starting out, his accomplishments appear to make him notable enough. 207.5.82.82 (talk) 00:32, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
