The article currently states that Mayorga was born in 1932. Other sources claim that he was born in 1944. I've put a table below of the opinions of all the sources I found.
Convincing evidence for 1932 is the story that Mayorga tells around 9:00 in this interview (YouTube). He says that he was 16 when the 1949 Ambato earthquake hit, and that he salvaged the keyboard from the destroyed church and rebuilt it.
