Evaluation Practice
[edit]:Hello! I am doing a practice exercise as I learn how to navigate Wikipedia editing for a class. Is there relevant research on whether organisms use photophores for either attracting prey or counter-illumination, or if both behaviors can be seen in one organism? Merge proposal
[edit]I was about to merge Organismal light organs boldly, given that it was an obvious synonym, when I noted Talk:Organismal light organs#Wiki Education assignment: Comparative Developmental Biology. So, perhaps we should pause on merging until the end of April ... or perhaps the education team could tidy it up themselves. Klbrain (talk) 17:19, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- Best to go ahead. The education team seem to have left the building — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 11:58, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Klbrain: Suggest going ahead with the merge. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 11:49, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
- Since this was a simple merge, I carried it out. It defaulted to a virtual replacement of the older article with the much more developed newer one, but as per precedence and naming guidelines, this is the correct place for the material. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 12:00, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Elmidae: thanks for doing that! Klbrain (talk) 18:57, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
