Source code for pastebin.com?

It says the source code is available for pastebin.com. Where is the source code? It is not available on the homepage. Altonbr (talk) 01:07, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

While access to the source code was likely available from the link above in 2008 when the Wiki user posted it, the link now returns a 404 status code, and the site no longer provides the code publicly. After the founder Paul Dixon sold pastebin in 2010, the site has not maintained its status as open source. However, Paul has published the original source code on Github, located here: https://github.com/lordelph/pastebin

Note that the source code on Github is the legacy code from circa 2002-2010, and may differ significantly from pastebin's currently implemented code. Before the site was sold, a forked copy of the legacy code called PASTE was created and is still under active development and officially endorsed by Paul. Reliable source?

"Since 2014, a majority of the pastes..." - there is no evidence given, no reliable source quoted, and the article itself promotes PC security solutions. I hardly call that evidence based facts....
