First line needs attention

The first line states 'The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organizations, and public service outside the civil service. It comprises five classes of awards across both civil and military divisions ...'

That seems to say that the civil service and military are excluded except for 'contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organizations, and public service outside the civil service.' Anthony Staunton (talk) 04:53, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Strange page preview at MBE

On the dab page MBE, there is an item for Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. Howering the mouse over the link one gets a page preview, which has the text Very nice award to get. Where does it pull that text from? 130.234.110.113 (talk) 08:51, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed that any references to this page on other articles have the description: "Very nice award to get". No informative text, just trolling around. Someone should change that (I dont know how to I'm not an expert here). Thankls in advance TractorEnthusiast (talk) 18:31, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
