Merger
[edit]I've tagged this for merger because I don't feel this adds greatly to the topic covered by Fringe Theatre. It seems to be a puff-piece for a web site (now removed from the article). The term doesn't have a general usage and seems to derive from the US. Kbthompson 13:45, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- I have redirected this for the reasons above. It is a neologism and having this article adds nothing to the content of the correct article. Casperonline 14:27, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- Absolute nonsense. This change now leaves an area of theatre uncovered by Wikipedia. The London "Off West End" scene is ENTIRELY different to "fringe festivals". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.138.2.195 (talk • contribs) 7 July 2007 (UTC)
List of venues
[edit]Since there is no strict or universally agreed-upon criteria for what makes a theatre 'off West End', and the list of venues isn't comprehensive, should it be removed? Creamfacedloon (talk) 20:37, 12 June 2025 (UTC)
- I don't think it should be removed, but it should be referenced. That is, we should cite a WP:RS for each item that states that it is an off West End theatre. Compare the off-Broadway list. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:28, 12 June 2025 (UTC)
