The result of the move request was: not moved. There is clear consensus that the politician should not be moved to the base name as there is no primary topic. Nick Roberts (politician) → Nick Roberts – About a month ago, Californian moved the article Nick Roberts to Nick Roberts (weightlifter), and retargeted the resulting redirect to this article about the politician. I take this to mean that they think the politician is the primary topic for the name "Nick Roberts". I think that's correct, and this article should be moved to the undisambiguated title; the alternative would be converting Nick Roberts to a disambiguation page. jlwoodwa (talk) 06:05, 23 February 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. Oppose positioning the three-sentence stub delineating the young politician as the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and would support the alternative option of converting the Nick Roberts redirect into a disambiguation page listing the politician's stub as well as the stubs for Nick Roberts (weightlifter) and hurler Nicky Roberts. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 07:17, 23 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Support moving the article to the undisambiguated title per WP:PTOP/jlwoodwa's reasoning. If not, oppose the proposed alternative of converting Nick Roberts to a disambiguation page. Oppose the proposed move and support a disambiguation page. Usually it is best to avoid a disambiguation page for only two entries. However, the politician does not have anymore long-term significance than the weightlifter and unfortunately the pageviews analysis tool would not be helpful since the basename is already redirecting to the politician. Even so, the politician is not getting significanlty more views than the weightlifter, so it does not justify PT.
