correct location?
[edit]I think the location as described needs to be corrected. The article mentions, quote, the "southwest intersection with Passyunk Avenue and Reed Street", and a low stone wall along Reed Street. The only "low stone wall" in the area is behind the Acme Market, near the intersection of Reed and S 11th Street. Info about Moyamensing Prison
[edit]My grandfather John D Reid was warden and lived in the prison with my father in the late 1930's to the mid 1940's. I have picutes from inside the prison and the warden's ID Card Ohio Transplant (talk) 18:20, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
Why did it close?
[edit]There's nothing in this article about the 20th century other than that the prison closed in 1963. I think it would improve the article if an explanation of why it closed were included. I don't know why; if I did, I'd add that myself. Pha telegrapher (talk) 22:04, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
