Two articles with same topic

Hi, there's another article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mizo_names, can these two pages be merged if possible? DavidOfThe (talk) 15:26, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I see that it was removed and then restored. Merging should be done, but keeping careful notice that the other article is from a single source and most statements are unsourced; not to say some misinformation. Also that article titles are preferred in singular (see this policy), e.g. we have "English name", "German name", "Indian name", etc., which is exactly why I created this article after noticing the deletion of the "... names" article. More so the sources were not reliable and thus removed. It became unsourced due to predatory publications. By Wikipedia policy we should be bold and make the changes to source things rather than tagging or moving them. This article is impressive for scouring corners of multiple books unrelated to naming system and studies and incorporating it into one place. Noted. As a Zo myself, I was biased while tagging the sources. I chose not to remove the content entirely, as that could have led to the article being deleted as I strongly felt that the article is notable. I’ll keep this in mind for the future.
