Why I cite a Wordpress source

Wikipedia accurately identifies Wordpress as an unreliable source. For the most part this is true, but I think I've come across an exception to this rule. Firstly, I cite Mercè's own webpage where she names her father, saying he was a designer. Secondly, Catalan surnames contain the surname of each parent, making individuals easy to identify. Thirdly, the person in the Wordpress article has the correct name, the correct profession, and lived in the correct era to be Mercè's father. Furthermore, I think citing this source is valuable to the article because Mercè says that her exposure to art influences and is integral to the way she writes.
